Snayx release chaotic & firey new single ‘Strut’ ahead of a jam packed summer
Snayx are carving their own path to greatness with their punk alt-rock sound doing things their own way. Ahead of a summer that will see them take on a number of major UK festivals as well as a Heavy Music Awards nomination for Best UK Breakthrough artist, they release an explosive new single ‘Strut’ showing exactly why they are one of the most exciting bands in the country right now.
The trio carry on the momentum from their Better Days EP that was released in February. “Strut” has everything you’d expect and more from a Snayx tune with its bass driven force and piercing drumbeats that carry the feel-good vibe from start to finish rounded off by clean and sharp vocals from frontman Charlie Herridge. The single stands strong as a middle finger to the obsession and reliance of social media.
Charlie describes it as a sharp yet tongue-in-cheek dissection of digital-age disillusionment: “‘Strut’ explores modern ideals and perceived values through the eyes of a social media-obsessed society—nepotism, vanity, generational wealth, trends, and crippling addiction. It’s social commentary without judgment, just the raw absurdity of keeping up with the Jones’ in 2025.”
The music video comes as POV if you’re a fridge or it’s contents as each member pops in and out – from the views of bassist Ollie brushing his teeth to drummer Lainey just vibing, the chaos matches the intensity of the song. The band said “we just chucked a fucking camera in a fridge”
“Strut” is available on all streaming platforms now – you can catch Snayx live across festival season at 2000Trees, Reading & Leeds as well as supporting Skindred at Stevenage’s Lamex Stadium.
