Live at Leeds in The Park announce two new main stages plus splits

Live at Leeds in The Park is only two months away and is one of the first festivals on the UK calendar in what is set to be another big year across the board. The festival with its stacked line-up have announced that for the first time will be hosting two main stages on site this year - the North & South stage will host an array of talent across the day and will feature no direct clashes meaning revellers can experience all 14 bands over the two stages.

Organisers have announced the stage splits for the North & South main stage that will include some big and iconic names across the day. Opening the North Stage will be Brighton’s indie rockers Fickle Friends followed by local band L’Objectif who will make their Live at Leeds debut. Other notable standouts will see an iconic performance from pop royalty Natasha Bedingfield who will certainly not be staring out to a blank field. Festival veterans The Amazons will return to the festival circuit in celebration of their latest record ‘21st Century Fiction’ that is set to land in May. More big names like Sigrid, The Pigeon Detectives & We Are Scientists will also perform over the two stages.

Each year the festival bring in iconic headliners and this year is no different, closing off the Main Stage East will be Welsh icons Manic Street Preachers, a band who are no strangers to performing on the big stage over the years and with such a huge catalogue of festival anthems, their set is set to be something special.

Rounding off the day will be yet another iconic name in music - Londoners Bloc Party will be celebrating 20 years of ‘Silent Alarm’ with a special performance of that record in full plus hits. Having hit up fields and arenas from all over, Bloc Party know their way around a festival crowd and anyone in Temple Newsam will be in for a set that will go down in Live at Leeds history.

With special guests as well as remaining stage splits yet to be announced, the festival is gearing up to be one of the best yet. Tickets are moving fast and can be bought now from the festival site.
