Leeds 4-Piece Foxhaunt kick off 2025 in heavy fashion with new single ‘Separate Me’

After such a successful 2024 reaching new heights, Leeds based Foxhaunt kick off 2025 carrying on from where they left off last year with their latest single “Separate Me.” The new single takes things up a level for the Yorkshire 4-piece that shows the band are kicking off the year as they mean to go on. Since their introduction in 2018, they have pushed their boundaries and brought in several new sides to the band with their in your face riffs and punching unique sound.

The new single comes in hard with a heavy screaming intro from vocalist Ollie Swift, his vocals throughout are sharp and sound as on point as ever with another screaming breakdown out of nowhere towards the end giving off strong iPrevail vibes. The song continues with an upbeat feel that you can just picture it being the perfect mid-set sort of song keeping up the energy in a sold-out room. The lyrics and riffs in the song are captivating making it a big standout to what the band have done before – it’s overall finish is a very mature and sets a tone of where the band are in their career. The band take a step up with the introduction of a heavier vibe to their music and the end result has paid off in a big way.

The band say "Separate Me is a haunting exploration of cherophobia, the fear of happiness, and the emotional turmoil that comes with it. Through raw lyrics and atmospheric production, the song paints a vivid picture of someone trapped in their own mind, unable to embrace joy because of the anxiety that comes with the negative connotations”

You can catch Foxhaunt in March as the headline a big hometown show in The Key Club inn Leeds.
